Lockheed Martin UX Designer in Puerto Rico

Description: We are hiring a UX Designer Associate Analyst in Lockheed Martin’s Chief & Analytics Office Organization to support UX & UI Design efforts in the Missiles & Fire Control business ($10B business) analytics platform.

Our integrated platform is a mix of , Lakes and Logical / Fabric set up from which we provision and insights to variety of users in many programs and functions. This self-service driven consumerism requires some support from an UX/UI Design professional to impart knowledge and best practices about building top class, simple to use in critical digital transformation efforts.

The UX Designer Associate Analyst will have the unique opportunity to support the team responsible for enterprise , business intelligence and analytics all while learning about our programs across the world and how we collaborate. Our is primarily built with Tableau; some users also prefer Business Objects dashboards. We are looking for an individual who excels at , interaction design, and information architecture within the constraints of off-the-shelf enterprise .

Key Responsibilities

• Work with product owners and business analysts to define UX/UI requirements for analytical dashboards, informed by user interviews, heuristic evaluation of pre-existing tools, and iterative usability testing

• Create wireframes, high fidelity mockups, prototypes, user flows, information architecture diagrams, or other artifacts required to build shared understanding across cross-functional teams

• Collaborate with report developers and analysts to guide execution and navigate technical constraints and tradeoffs

• Engages teammates regularly through various literacy and community practices to make and dashboards fun and exciting.

• Creates layouts, comps, and /CSS prototypes, to communicate vision and final requirements to internal stakeholders and teams

• Participates in user research, usability validation, and A/B testing

• Works closely with other team members including User Experience Architects, Business Owners, Product Managers, Content Strategists, and Teams to bring designs to life

• Educates team members and business users alike in the effective use and of communication products and interfaces, and support the advancement of analytics literacy throughout Regions

• Develops User Guides in partnership with Community of Pract9vce & Literacy team members for how to make effective dashboards in MFC programs and functions.

The work location is the Aguadilla, Puerto Rico facility; full-time telecommuters will be considered for this position. The candidate must reside in Puerto Rico and have the ability to access the Aguadilla facility as needed:

Basic Qualifications:

• Familiarity with information and techniques, modern , text formatting, basis , , etc.

• Ability to learn new technologies and platforms

Desired Skills:

• Requirements experience, authoring business requirements, lifecycle experience, user acceptance testing.

• Experience with Tableau, Business Objects Suite or similar analytics and platform
