Job Title: Welder

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The primary responsibility will be MIG welding on mild steel and occasionally on stainless steel. In addition to welding, the candidate will be responsible for prepping material, sanding, grinding, and laying out brackets. Maintaining a clean workspace and tooling area is essential. Responsibilities also include tack welding, fabricating, inspecting, and replenishing consumables on the floor.

Hard Skills

• Welding/fabrication experience (at least 6-12 months)

• Experience with sanders and related tools

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Pueblo, Colorado.

Work Environment

Large manufacturing environment. The position requires openness to 2nd shift: Mon-Thu 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM (Friday overtime). All welders will start on 1st shift and transition to 2nd shift within 4-6 months on average, with a $3/hr raise upon night shift conversion. The shifts include A and B for days, and C and D for nights. Overtime is rarely offered during training but may be available voluntarily after transitioning to night shift. Attendance is critical, with no sick time allowed (unexcused if missed). The culture emphasizes doing your job without engaging in workplace drama.
