Web Designer
The BYU Mechanical Engineering Department is seeking a web developer/administrator to help design and maintain the website for the Mechanical Engineering.
What you'll do in this position:
- Work with student web developers to create industry standard web designs/pages, providing an excellent user experience.
- Develop utilizing mainly CSS, HTML, and PHP on a Drupal website with symphony PHP frameworks.
- Support a team of student web developers (in the Mechanical Engineering Department) to train them in Drupal functionality and bring them up-to-speed in developing new features, creating needed code, and maintaining a web-based Drupal database system on the Capstone website.
Maintain and update various views, modules, web pages, custom features, or themes, etc. and works with appropriate templates.
What qualifies you for this role:
Required
- A firm commitment to the mission of BYU
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and content management systems

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, working knowledge of Drupal software
