CRUCIAL LEARNING Payroll and Benefits Coordinator in PROVO, Utah

Payroll and Benefits Coordinator Reports To: Payroll and Benefits Manager Employment Type: Full Time, FSLA Status: Non-Exempt, EEO Category: Administrative Workers The Impact you Will Have: Under the direction of the Payroll and Benefits Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with employee benefits programs and processing payroll accurately and efficiently in ADP Workforce Now. This role involves working closely with HR and finance teams to ensure compliance with regulations while maintaining accurate records in the payroll system. You will also respond to and resolve employee inquiries. The ideal candidate will have a detail-oriented approach, strong organizational skills, and a strong desire to understand payroll and benefits administration. What You'll Do: * Collect information to calculate and process payroll accurately and on time using ADP Workforce Now including but not limited to opening payroll cycles, verifying timesheet data, creating pay batches, creating and uploading pay files * Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations related to benefits and payroll * Serve as the first point of contact for employees with questions regarding their payroll and benefits. * Reconciling payroll and benefits data * Perform verifications of employment * Execute employee change memo's into our HRIS, ADP WorkforceNow while maintaining accuracy * Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS system * Escalate payroll, benefits and employee data issues with your manager and/or external vendors * Assist with new hire onboarding and benefits enrollment * Generate reports related to benefits, payroll, and employee demographics What You'll Need: * High School Diploma, or equivalent * 1-3 years of professional experience preferred * 1+ years of payroll experience a plus * Microsoft Suite Experience, Excel preferred * Experience with ADP WorkforceNow a plus * Verbal and written communication experience with all personnel levels exemplifying tact and diplomacy * Ability to handle confidential information and materials with care and discretion * Ability to stick to deadlines * A strong awareness of attention to detail * Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future What You'll Get: * Access to some of the richest professional development programs. * A variety of benefits.
