Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant/Tax Preparer to join our team. The ideal
candidate will have a strong background in financial planning, tax preparation, and accounting

Duties:
Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses
Analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax regulations
Assist with audits and communicate with tax authorities on behalf of clients
Process payroll for the office staff
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA certification preferred but not required
Proficient in QuickBooks
Minimum of 2 years of experience in preparing tax returns
Proficiency in financial concepts and tax laws
Strong analytical skills to analyze financial data accurately
Knowledge of debits, credits, and adjusting accounting entries; financial reporting
Experience with payroll processing and filing payroll reports, sales tax, and other accounting
functions
