Intel Solution Sales Specialist in Providence, Rhode Island
Drives alignment between Business Unit Sales and Country and Territory Sales teams to enable product strategies and sales roadmaps that satisfy global customer needs. Acts as a central point of expertise for the business unit and BU Sales in the region. Exhibits expertise of platform strategy and products portfolio to guide sales staff in creating a value proposition of Intels product and solutions. Serves as product and platform evangelist in advising local field, customers, and partners on products, platforms, and solutions in selected regions via the 4P methodology.
Supports BU Sales goals and deliverables and serves in a support role in driving billings and consumption and implementing BU sales strategies to grow the business in the local market. Leads a series of customer and downstream sales activities including prelaunch preparation, launch and ramp readiness, partner enablement, development and production of marketing material, sales training, and issue and opportunity management coordination between the field and the business unit sales. Responds to customer requests or events as they occur in partnership with the account teams. Delivers feedback to BU Sales and BU on product issues, SKU gaps, competitive issues, and market dynamics. Manages the identification, creation, and management of new business opportunities with select companies to develop solutions and create complementary products and services to yield sales opportunities for the company. Defines, develops and drives execution of the partner strategies to strengthen BU partner alliances.
Demonstrated progressive experience in a sales and/or business development role from the Energy industry business. Preference for Sales Strategy
Consultative selling with Grid Modernization and/or Industrial Decarbonization and/or Energy-as-a-Service backgrounds
Excellent quantitative analytical skills, creativity in problem solving, and a keen business sense
Ability to think strategically, but also have exceptional attention to detail to drive program management and execution
Strong interpersonal and communication skills effective across all levels of management
SaaS and B2I (industry) experience preferred

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
