We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Attorney to join our team situated in Greater Providence, Rhode Island area. As an Attorney, your role will primarily revolve around debt collection cases, where you will utilize your legal expertise and case management skills. This role is based in our office and is an exceptional opportunity for someone looking to contribute to a legal team in a significant way.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage debt collection cases to ensure fair practices are adhered to

• Utilize case management software to maintain accurate records and manage case progression

• Use debt collection software such as Dakcs or Columbia to efficiently manage cases and clients

• Handle customer inquiries, providing clear and concise legal advice

• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of consumer finance regulations to ensure compliance

• Use billing software for attorneys to manage client billing and account details

• Use your problem-solving skills to provide innovative solutions to complex legal issues

• Ensure all actions taken are in line with the license held in RI, with a preference for RI, MA, and CT

• Constantly update and improve your knowledge of debt collection law

• Show an entrepreneurial spirit and attention to detail in all your work.

Requirements • Must hold a valid license to practice law

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as an Attorney/Lawyer

• Proficiency in using Case Management Software

• Demonstrated ability in Briefing and Debt Collection

• Knowledge of Fair Debt Collection Practices is essential

• Experience with Billing Software for Attorneys is desirable

• Understanding of Consumer Finance regulations and practices

• Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
