We are currently hiring for an Apprentice Mechanic.

Monday - Friday

*Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays and overtime as available.

OT is never required, optional only!.

The purpose of this position is to tear down, clean, inspect and rebuild heavy equipment components as defined in work order and ISO process instructions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Disassemble, inspect and rebuild hydraulic components such as pumps, motors, compressors, calipers and valves used in mining, marine and other industrial applications Identify, report and repair equipment to OEM specifications, when applicable Perform failure analysis on components, thus providing key failure information to customers Interpreting technical drawings and schematics to disassemble and reassemble components based on parts and service manuals Adhere to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures

EXPERIENCE NECESSARY: Some mechanical experience preferred with mechanical aptitude

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Knowledge of techniques, methods and procedures used in the maintenance and repair of hydraulic and mechanical equipment Basic knowledge of parts and systems of heavy equipment machinery Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to follow established procedures/practices, read instructions/blueprints and review specifications for equipment Aptitude in safe use of mechanical tools and precision measuring tools used to perform job duties High school diploma or GED required
