The Role

Genmab's Portfolio & Project Management (PPM) department is expanding to support our robust product pipeline. We are seeking Senior Associate, Portfolio & Project Management Business & Program Support, to support leaders working on our clinical drug development programs. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a fast-paced, complex program with senior level stakeholders.

The Senior Associate will be a part of PPM Business & Program Support a global, collaborative team. The group supports the PPM department (approximately 70 people) by providing a variety of activities including program and administrative support, onboarding, training and meeting planning. This role will report directly into the Associate Director, PPM Business & Program Support but is closely connected (dotted lines) to senior PPM leadership in the US. The Senior Associate will provide program and business support for the Compound Development Team Leads (CDTLs) and Program Managers who work several early to late-stage programs.

Responsibilities

Organize and coordinate face to face and/or hybrid team meetings and events, including travel arrangements, catering, invitations, logistics, IT/AV and overall setup; coordinate efforts with partner company as needed
Book travel, create itineraries and prepare expense reports for VP, CDTL and Program Managers on the assigned program.
Maintain and organize documentation for the program Microsoft Teams channels; manage Team membership lists
Calendar management for the VP, Compound Development Team Leader and as needed for others
Support VP, Compound Development Team Leader and Lead Program Managers by providing administrative support for team deliverables, including but not limited to:
Proofing/formatting PowerPoints
Preparing team communications
Distributing, tracking/organizing information
Ordering and distributing office supplies, gifts and materials
Manage contracts and create POs in SAP; liaise with Finance, Legal and/or Procurement as needed
Maintain relationships and partner with other administrative assistants, IT, Facilities and other key business partners to ensure successful execution of responsibilities and provide help/support as needed
Participate in a working group to support enhancements and continuous improvements for departmental and team SharePoint sites.
Lead the planning and organization of team events
Create work instructions and document processes
Contribute to overall development and continuous improvement of PPM processes and standards, including sharing lessons learned


Requirements
Bachelors' degree or equivalent preferred
A minimum of 5 years of experience in an administrative/executive support and/or project coordinator role
A minimum of 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and/or biotechnology industry; preferably in a global role
Basic knowledge of drug development is a plus
Experience with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams is required. Microsoft Visio and Project preferred.
Experience with Concur expense reporting and travel booking system is preferred.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced global environment with some ambiguity
Detail oriented with strong organizational and planning skills
Proactive, results driven and service-oriented mindset
Collaborative spirit and capability to work in a matrixed global team environment
Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
A team player, but also able to work well independently


For US based candidates, the proposed salary band for this position is as follows:

$71,250.00---$118,750.00

The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses.
