Robert Half Payroll Benefits Administrator in Princeton, New Jersey

Description

Our client, a well-established organization in Princeton, NJ, is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join their team. This role will function as a Benefits/Payroll Coordinator, responsible for processing payroll from start to finish, handling benefits administration, and ensuring compliance with payroll regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll from start to finish using ADP.

  • Administer benefits, including understanding FMLA regulations and medical insurance terms (HMO vs PPO).

  • Utilize Excel proficiently for payroll-related tasks, including editing, shortcuts, macros, pivot tables, and general formulas.

  • Convert and manage payroll-related documents in .pdf formats.

  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with payroll laws and company policies.

  • Address employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

    Requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Intermediate Excel proficiency (ability to pass a competency test in spreadsheets, formulas, and pivot tables).

  • Experience with ADP payroll processing.

  • Basic understanding of FMLA, medical benefits, and HR policies.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Excellent communication and attention to detail.
