Our Team:

Data Operations is responsible for a diverse set of operational and business tasks requiring critical collaboration with Product, Finance, Engineering, and all the teams across the Data department. Data Operations focuses on all aspects of measuring and leading Data’s business efforts involving all asset classes and crossing all of our business units including Data Management, Content Acquisition, and Bloomberg Industry Group. In addition to measuring business outcomes, the Operations team works on company-wide initiatives such as marketing, organizational planning, business planning, and continuity.

What's the Role?

As an Operations Support Specialist working at the heart of the Data COO team, you will have responsibilities which impact departmental business planning and continuity, project management, access management, and reporting!

We'll trust you to:

  • Maintain administration and management of departmental access to critical functionality using our internal Role Based Privileging (RBP) system in coordination with a global network of Business Administrators (BARs)

  • Support business continuity documentation, planning, tracking and testing using our internal tool (FUSION)

  • Collaborating closely with local Workplace Operations and to coordinate desk planning, equipment, and general facility needs

  • Collaborate with Data’s Business Operations managers, senior leadership, and partners including Data Technologies (DT), Engineering, and Workplace Operations

  • Improve transparency with standardized reporting, data collection, data visualization, and documentation for areas of responsibility

  • Lead multiple projects at a time while meeting required deadlines

  • Demonstrate extensive interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and maintain stakeholder relationships at all levels

  • Demonstrate a high level of energy, creativity, flexibility, and dedication.

  • Flexibility with regards to travel - New York City and possible international travel

You’ll need to have:

  • 2+ years of experience in managing projects

  • Proven project management skills, including the ability to work across multiple teams, channels, and reporting lines

  • Strong written and verbal communication, time management, and autonomous decision-making skills

  • Proficiency with JIRA, Microsoft Teams, and One Drive

  • Experience in information technology, data analysis, and/or workflow development

  • Solid skills and experience using Excel, PowerPoint, and crafting a business case

  • Legal authorization to work in the US without visa sponsorship now and/or in the future

We’d love to see:

  • Proficiency in Python

  • Experience driving effective change management

  • Experience with business continuity planning or management

Salary Range: 80,000 - 130,000 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus

The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
