Bristol-Myers Squibb Company Manager, Statistical Programming in Princeton, New Jersey

Use experience with: SAS and programming languages for derived analysis datasets and TFLs; XML, Pinnacle 21; handling and processing of upstream data (multiple data forms, workflow, eDC, SDTM); providing outputs to meet downstream requirements (ADaM, Data Definition Table, e-submission); and CDISC standards and relational database to provide comprehensive programming expertise to clinical project teams to support the development, regulatory approval and market acceptance of BMS products. Design, develop and implement technical solutions for integrating, analyzing and reporting clinical data. Develop collaborative relationships and work effectively within Global Biometrics and Data Sciences (GBDS), with external vendors and members of cross-functional development teams. Create SAS programs to generate derived analysis datasets and content for tables, listings, and figures. Perform programming validation to ensure quality of analysis datasets and programming outputs. Provide programming support for project teams, including development of programming strategies, standards, specifications and programmed analysis. Support the electronic submission preparation and review. Review key planning documents (e.g., statistical analysis plan, data presentation plan, data review plan) to ensure alignment with development team objectives and clarity and completeness of programming assumptions and requirements. Assess impact on programming activities. Interact with vendors regarding project standards, programming conventions, programming specifications and file transfers. Ensure quality GBDS deliverables by consistently applying standards and complying with regulatory requirements, guidance and corporate and departmental SOPs and work practices. Identify opportunities for increased efficiency and consistency within GBDS and our interactions with strategic vendors. May telecommute 100% of time from anywhere in the United States.Requirements: bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in chemistry, statistics, biostatistics, mathematics, computer science or life sciences plus 5 years of post-baccalaureate experience reflecting demonstrable ability in the skill set described above. The starting compensation for this job is a range from $158,496 to $173,326/year, plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility). The starting pay takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and where the job is performed. Final, individual compensation is decided based on demonstrated experience.
