SUMMARY DESCRIPTION

This position is the tech & process leader for the Finance & Accounting functions at Integra LifeSciences, encompassing technical administration of our systems and continuous improvement of our tools and processes. The position supports key processes including the company’s budget and forecasting cycles, variance analyses, quarterly earnings preparation, and more. Through collaboration across Finance, Accounting, cross-functionally with Information Systems (IS), and with our network of external partners, the role will also play a critical role in enhancing forecasting accuracy and developing new processes and tools to support the future growth of the company.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED

This position reports directly to the VP of Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), with potential changes following the full implementation of our new OneStream solution for external reporting, planning & forecasting.

SUPERVISION EXERCISED

This position will directly manage a team of 1 finance professional.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty listed below.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Developing and driving the strategic vision and roadmap for Finance & Accounting technology at Integra LifeSciences, including integration/optimization of new/existing tools and sunsetting of legacy ones

  • Continually scanning the external environment for leading practices that should be implemented here

  • Facilitating best practice sharing within the Finance & Accounting functions; driving harmonization and simplification across our process and technology landscape

  • Leading the OneStream implementation across all Finance areas including Commercial FP&A, Corporate FP&A, Accounting, Audit, and Global Operations

  • Collaborating with peers and partners to gather requirements, design, prioritize, and execute continuous improvement of our Finance & Accounting tech & processes, especially planning, forecasting, and reporting in OneStream

  • Supporting all aspects of OneStream including, but not limited to workflows, security, people planning, business rules, cube views, dashboarding, reporting, and metadata

  • Overseeing the maintenance of mappings, hierarchies, transformation rules and confirmations from systems like EDW, Oracle, and Workday

  • Ensuring all data is accurate within OneStream

  • Staying up to date with financial systems like OneStream, Oracle ERP, EDW, PowerBI and SAP BPC

  • Maintaining process documentation and providing training to the organization

DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required for his position.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required; Master’s degree or MBA preferred

  • 5+ years of experience in financial system administration/implementation with a background in finance and accounting

  • Must understand FP&A and Accounting processes

  • Must have experience with OneStream

  • Strong Excel skills and proven facility in financial modeling required

  • Experience in SQL and VB.NET coding is a plus

  • Experience with multidimensional databases such as Hyperion, BPC or TM1 is a plus

  • Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to audit the work of the OneStream System Administrator, IS, and external partners, while also demonstrating the ability to think and act strategically, with creativity, and prioritize appropriately in a resource-constrained environment

  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to collaborate and influence all levels in the organization
