JOB OPENING:
CHIP TRUCK DRIVER
Starting wage: \$26.55 plus \$1.00 night shift differential
JOB DESCRIPTION:
? Operate a diesel tractor and chip trailer safely and efficiently within DOT guidelines.
? Be familiar with DOT regulations.
? Climb ladders to chip bins and on trailer.
? Change tires.
? Run the 980 loader.
? Be able to do truck maintenance.
? Shovel trailers out.
? Other duties as assigned
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ENVIRONMENTAL SETTING (Indoors/Outdoors):
Standing/walking, crouching/kneeling, stooping, twisting, climbing, balancing, leg/foot use,
reaching, handling/grasping, and interaction with others. Employee must be able to push, pull,
lift or carry at least 70 lbs. He/She will operate equipment, is at risk of exposure to the elements,
and must follow certain safety requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
C Must be at least 18 years old
C Good work and/or school history
C Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test as well as random
drug and alcohol tests administered during the course of employment
C Must have a valid Commercial Drivers License, current Medical Examiners Certificate,
and 3 years of commercial driving experience with a clean driving record. Preference will
be given to candidates with experience driving chip trucks.
Applicants must be able to work flexible hours and shifts.
