In this position you will:
- Hire and manage contracted instructors in order to facilitate a variety of recreational programming.
{=html} <!-- --> - Plan and manage outdoor recreational programs and events for the Town through Parks & Recreation.
{=html} <!-- --> - Inspect the condition, safety and security of equipment and facilities required for programming.
{=html} <!-- --> - Provide customer service to internal and external customers; greet, receive and screen visitors and customers; address and resolve customer questions as able and refers complex inquiries, requests or complaints to appropriate staff.
{=html} <!-- --> - Participate in registration and accounting of program attendance, revenue and expenditures.
{=html} <!-- --> - Remit invoices and receipts for approval and payment; seek grants, solicit sponsors and other financial support avenues to supplement costs.
{=html} <!-- --> - Work with the Marketing Specialist to prepare and distribute marketing materials to local press and the community relating to programs, events and festivals; work with Marketing Specialist to maintain and update social media, website, and external signage as necessary.
