Sodexo Social Media Specialist in Prescott, Arizona

Unit Description

You are a communication specialist and social media marketer. You know how to build relationships with client Public Relations personnel. You are an advocate for nutrition services by promoting nutrition initiatives through district social media channels and telling our success stories through newsletters.

The Communication Social Media Marketing Specialist will work with the Senior Marketing Manager, District Manager, and client PR staff to promote the Sodexo Brand in child nutrition. The specialist is responsible for posting monthly marketing promotions, assisting Arizona accounts in newsletter creation and delivery to communities and clients. All marketing efforts will need to be tracked to identified success. This remote role supports K12 Child Nutrition accounts in Arizona and eligible candidates will reside in region due to travel.

Job duties include:

  • Utilize web and social media marketing assets to promote business growth

  • Support surveys development and deployment; utilize follow up tools to share results and show Sodexo responses

  • Encourage Nutrition Social Media activity within each school district

  • Identify opportunities to influence public and client perceptions of nutrition services in schools

  • Build Brand Awareness and enable strategic growth and increase web-traffic

  • Leverage “Influencers” to bolster our marketing initiatives and engagement

  • Assist in quarterly live surveys at sites when applicable

  • Work with Senior Marketing Manager to grow the Communication Social Media position

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Assist in effectively leveraging digital communications, specifically social media engagement toward achieving specific business outcomes.

  • Works to enhance social media presence and engagement across the organization and through relevant channels.

  • Assists to educate and coordinate social media adoption to include brand awareness.

  • This new role will be multi-faceted, involving creating, engaging and connecting.

  • Incumbent will assist with the following components: Creating content for Sodexo use through unpaid, digital media using text, imagery, infographics, video, digital polling, chat, forums, digital seminars, workshops and events and managing editorial calendars to ensure continuous and optimized presence on social media platforms that support targeted, positive user experience.

  • Ensure external content is continually refreshed and improved, that content is cross-purposed (across market segments, platforms, properties, etc.) and that external user experience is continuously improved to build affinity for the Sodexo brand.

  • Assist in coordinating to who, where, and when to disseminate public relations products then listening to users, facilitating opportunities for user-generated content, supporting development of digital communities, and capturing and applying feedback and metrics.
