Responsibilities
The PBX Operator coordinates on-duty activities involving computer and telephony systems and is able to quickly and kindly answer and appropriately route incoming calls. The incumbent communicates clearly and professional to achieve desired goals and takes on additional projects and duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum
High School Diploma/GED
Two years PBX operator, customer service, or hospital related experience
Strong Computer skills and very good typing skills are required
Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills are required
Must be able to multi-task and prioritize during high stress situations (code scenarios). Comfortable and clear speaking voice
Experienced with MS Office applications including MS Outlook
Preferred
Prefer some college level education
Preferred proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
Three years customer service experience, preferably in a hospital PBX or high volume call center environment is desired
Experience in the hospital setting is preferred
English/Spanish bilingual desired
Pay Range
$18.00 - $20.38 /hour
