Microsoft Corporation Senior Software Engineer in Prague, Czech Republic

M365's COSMIC team designs, builds, and operates a global scale managed-runtime environment based on Azure Kubernetes Service for the benefit of Microsoft service teams and developers. COSMIC could be compared to a ‘Kubernetes PaaS’.

COSMIC’s Engineering Excellence charter aims to improve developers’ productivity, happiness, and effectiveness. Our charter builds and maintains solutions that enable engineering teams to focus on their own scenarios and business requirements rather than scaffolding. Our charter's remit is broad: from autonomous continuous delivery, through Observability, to runtime configuration management that enables service owners to reconfigure their services without redeployment.

You will take on wide range of challenges. And you will have access to technical subject matter experts, world-class engineers, and architects for guidance and collaboration. These projects provide exciting technical challenges and career growth opportunities. Your key partners and collaborators are distributed across different global regions.

We are looking for proactive Senior Software Engineers based anywhere within Czechia to help us build new solutions and extend COSMIC’s Engineering Excellence charter with the adoption of new technologies, adding features and continue to improve quality and resilience for different scenarios. Ideally leveraging Azure resources for faster iterations. Experience with Kubernetes and Linux are a bonus.

Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more.
