The Opportunity

For our Abbott Diabetes Care Division ADC we are currently looking for an experienced sales talent to join our commercial team in Czech Republic as a Sales Specialist. This is a field-based role requiring daily traveling across assigned territory - Prague west, Prague east, Prague 5, Prague 4, Benešov, Příbram.

Primary Objective of Position:

  • Increasesalesand market share ofAbbottDiabetes Care products. Establishing strong relationships with internal and external health care constituents.

  • Keeping current on internal and competitive products and positioning.

  • Effectivelyplanningfor and following through with short and long-term results based on businesstrendsby developing plans. Keeping current inmarket trendsand competitor’s strategy.

What You'll do:

  • Meeting orexceeding sales quotas/objectivesforADCProducts.

  • Establishing strong relationships with a broad base of internal and external health care constituents (e.g., physicians, nurses) and with patients.

  • Conducting productrelated training sessionsfor doctors, nurses and patients (webinars or traditionalin-house training).

  • Understanding and conveying information professionally and accurately.

  • Effectively planning forand following through with short and long term results based on businesstrendsby developing plans that include goals, action plans, time frames and the appropriate resources.

  • Develops and implements plans (e.g., territory, account and call) that include goals, action items, time frames and resources.

  • Regularly tracks andreportsprogress against plan, redirecting efforts as necessary.

  • Completes all administrative tasks accurately and in a timely fashion. Document daily activity incall reporting/ tracking system.

  • Maintain accountability forall samples in accordance with Division guidelines.

Required qualifications and background:

  • University degree in business and medical or technical discipline is desired, secondary school is a must.

  • Diabetes clinicalknowledge is highly desirable.

  • Previous experiencein sales isrequired.

  • Good knowledge of local industry: changing market dynamics, key competitors, terminology, challenges andpotentialgovernment regulations.

  • Experience developing relationships with, selling to and negotiatingwith stakeholders intargeted, non-enterprise accounts.

  • Good commandof English andexcellent/native level ofCzech/Slovak.

  • Strongcommunicationskills, high energy,integrityand ambition to succeed.

  • Fluency in using computer technologies, Internet,digital communication tools,office package and others.
