Microsoft Corporation Product Manager II in Prague, Czech Republic

Join us as we take Microsoft Teams, our fast-growing collaboration product to the next level. We are looking for a passionate product manager to define and deliver new ways to connect people, improve communication, and facilitate collaboration across a diverse set of user segments.

This Product Manager II position offers the opportunity to work on the core messaging team to create the best collaborative experience leveraging Microsoft Loop components in chats and channels. Are you passionate about solving new and complex problems around collaboration? How to connect people across our physical and digital spaces? You will be responsible for defining feature roadmaps, design, and ship features with high quality, measuring success, and using data insights to inform future plans. This role requires a mix of product thinking, technical depth, user-centric design, cross-team collaboration, and external customer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Understand business goals and user needs, collect requirements, and synthesize product plans to deliver maximum impact.

  • Deliver end-to-end product, including competitive research, requirements definition, user experience, and delivery.

  • Validate and improve product over time through measurement and experimentation.

  • Engage with customers and internal preview users, and triage, prioritize, and address customer feedback for your area.

  • Regularly present new product plans, strategy, demos, competitive reviews, and more to the leadership team.

  • Manage dependencies across teams to ensure features solve customer needs cohesively.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND experience in product/service/project/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to wear many hats and learn quickly, and the collaborative leadership skills to lead a change in direction when needed.

  • Innate curiosity and ability to thrive in ambiguous and rapidly changing startup environment. Self-starters and innovators with a positive, collaborative can-do attitude and bias for action are required.

  • Ability to influence others and experience with leading cross team product designs without direct authority.

  • Experience across the entire product lifecycle – from product inception to ship and the know-howrequired to lead your crew to realize your vision.

  • Affinity and experience in user-centered design, UX design and innovating on behalf of the customer is required.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills. through all levels of the organization, technical and non-technical

  • Understanding of web and mobile technologies.

  • Great problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically and analytically to define and track success metrics for your areas.
