Siemens Head of Business Controlling in Prague, Czech Republic

You and your team are taking on commercial responsibility for Global Business Services in the Region Central Eastern Europe (CEE). In this regard, as Head of Business Controlling (f/m/d) you will be leading a team of several controlling professionals in our Finance Hub. You will become an integral part of the Finance Hub Central Europe and will advise our Business Partners on all finance related aspects, ensure meaningful reporting for all stakeholders, and contribute with your finance and business know-how to upcoming business decisions.

  • You coordinate the planning process (Budget/Forecast) in alignment with the Business Partners in the Hub CEE.

  • You setup and oversee the timely and accurate management reporting process, present and comment on financial development, monitor the target achievement

  • You understand the business needs and act as a trusted leader of finance business partners

  • You oversee, optimize and streamline the business controlling processes to drive the efficiency and continuous process improvements

  • You identify the digitalization/automation opportunities in your area of responsibilities and ensure the proper implementation

  • You support the business on offer calculation, contracting, you act in line with the costing and pricing methodology requirements

  • You ensure that services are grounded on reasonable business cases, while keeping the focus on productivity and efficiency

  • You provide regular, as well as ad-hoc analysis, communicate the results and provide recommendations to the relevant stakeholders

  • You are in regular exchange with the GBS Finance Team Leads in our Finance HUB Central Europe and act as Finance Partner for the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Team

  • You lead, motivate and develop a team of controlling professionals / finance business partners

  • You foster the collaboration culture and never compromise on compliance topics

  • You convince with your proven analytical skills, strategic thinking, your commitment as well as your focus on results, a confident appearance, and your assertiveness. 

  • You are enthusiastic about digitalization and automation of financial processes and have business management expertise, e.g. Revenue recognition, Free Cash Flow... 

  • You are also well-versed in handling of Microsoft Office and have experience with SAP applications

  • You have Master’s degree in Controlling, Finance, Accounting, or a related field and proven experience in a similar role

  • You demonstrate fluent communication skills in English (German would be a benefit), have very good presentation skills and feel comfortable in dealings with management. 

  • You have experience in team management and development
