Job Description

We are seeking an analytically minded Finance Manager to join our team as part of an exciting transformation of our ways of working within the LEGO Group!

Please note that relocation support is not offered for this position.

Core Responsibilities

  • Controlling and reporting activities for Monthly and yearly closings, Trade Investments and Marketing

  • Collaborate with Finance Business partners across functions

  • Prepare and provide data, analysis, insights and advice necessary to support Finance Business Partners in planning and decision-making process

  • Preparing reports, presentations and analysis for relevant senior stakeholders

  • Engage and partner with the Service Delivery and Centers of Excellence teams of Business Service Operations team

You will become part of Business Service Operations (BSO), which is a shared service center that delivers Employee and Finance services to The LEGO Group from 4 locations; Monterrey, Prague, Singapore and China. The purpose of the BSO is to create an effective and efficient platform for growth to support our strategy and reach twice as many kids over the next 5-7 years. You will play a key role in the evolution of the BSO roadmap, where we would like to bring and develop controlling, planning and business partnering capabilities within the team to elevate further the finance services catalogue.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Demonstrated financial controlling and/or finance business partnering experience

  • Challenging status quo - You productively question how things are done regarding current processes, team meetings, team and work environments, etc. You are not satisfied with “business as usual” but seek to improve.

  • Finance data analysis -You have an understanding of accounting and financial concepts ensuring robust analysis, using data from multiple sources, to support decision making.

  • Presentation skills - You are able to prepare and present complex information to own team and internal/external customers.

  • Problem/issue identification & management - You are able to identify problems/issues and generates recommended solutions, and put preventative measures in place for future. You can also resolve day-to-day problems/issues independently.

  • Customer service culture - You are customer orientated and you bring customers´ viewpoint into service delivery, problem solving and process improvements.

  • Strong Excel skills – SAP and PowerBI knowledge are preferred
