Data Governance Specialist

This position reports to Data Governance Manager and is based at Prague, Czech republic.

What You Will Do:

• Support Data Governance team in establishing and maintaining global data standards for Product, Customer, and other masterdata dimensions

• Manage the run state intake process for masterdata/mappings/hierarchies across environments

• Analyze master data to determine data quality issues and resolve defects

• Manage the project state requirements and support testing of technology to validate design requirements, data input and outputs, and collaborate with technical teams as needed

• Maintain documentation such as Data Standards, Data Dictionary, Process Flows, Desk Top Procedures (DTP’s) and Work Instructions (WI’s) to support the execution of Master Data maintenance across environments

• Support enhancements, design, and testing of master data Workflow Tool

• Build training materials and lead training sessions with representatives

• Support ad hoc finance data related projects as well as establishing new and/or improving existing processes

Qualifications

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, preferably within finance, accounting, or business

• A minimum of 7 experience in finance/supply chain/SAP/DataHub/ or Masterdata

• Proficiency with sharepoint and Excel including the ability to create / use of Pivot tables, V-lookups, etc.

• Ability to meet deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced working environment, develop strong business partnerships, and experience in ad hoc analysis

Desired Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Visio

• Experience in data quality rule creation, maintenance, and remediation

• Understanding of data/mapping/hierarchies flow between multiple environments
