Edwards Lifesciences Assistant, TMTT PEMA (Prague) in Prague, Czech Republic

Provide administrative support to Professional Education & Medical Affairs department (PEMA) of Transcatheter Mitral and Tricuspid Therapies (TMTTs) Business Unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform basic administrative tasks that may include mailing, printing, scheduling, office supply ordering, filing and other tasks as needed under general supervision

  • Assist in routine general administrative projects/tasks

  • May plan and execute meetings and events, under supervision

  • Use computer programs to support development of correspondence, presentations, and to perform data entry, as directed

  • Assist company directors with respect to various administrative tasks including: travel arrangements i.e. flight, car rental, accommodation bookings; processing and preparation of travel expenses; tailoring/finalizing business presentations; prepare meeting minutes

  • Cooperate and support larger corporate events (e.g. conferences, team-buildings, Xmas party together with Office Supervisor)

  • Manage schedule and calendar of management with attention to accuracy and detail

  • Provide event management support for HR department (e.g. social team events, charity occasions, volunteer initiatives)

  • Liaise via telephone and in person, establishing and maintaining relationships with external suppliers relevant to events such as hotels, restaurants, event agencies, entertainment providers and other participating parties

Education and Experience:

  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent 2 Years years experience previous related experience required

Additional Skills:

  • Basic skills in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Fluent in English - daily use

  • Good written and verbal communications skills

  • Good problem-solving skills

  • Ability to manage travel arrangements

  • Attention to detail

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and good manners

  • Pro-active attitude, an enthusiastic, driven, "can-do" attitude rather than waiting for things to happen

  • Highly organized, accurate, consistent and dedicated to performing the internal/external client experience

  • Able and willing to work effectively in a team as well as on its own
