The Deal to Revenue Analytics team assumes ownership for the creation of financial and management reporting using the newest technology and supports SAP's management in effective decision-making by providing effective analytics tools simplifying daily business.. The position is a unique opportunity to develop and grow in a global role engaging with both the business, and technology.

What youll do

As an Analytics and Data Senior Specialist, you will play a critical role in guiding the company's financial asset strategies through comprehensive data analysis and insights. In this vital position, you will drive SAPs strategic goal of data for all, provide analytical insights for SAP to ultimately steer the company. You will work closely with Business (Finance & Controlling) and the technical delivery unit to translate business requirements into technical requirements and drive the technical implementation and delivery of analytical scenarios. Your fundamental technical understanding of SAP HANA, ideally Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud is beneficial to act as an innovator by exploring new ways of solving SAPs business problems.

Responsibilities also include the following:

• Creation and maintenance of Dashboards using SAPs leading analytical tool SAP Analytics Cloud

• Support transformation into the Cloud Company by shaping analytical data products in Datasphere and successfully delivering standard analytics with a dedicated focus on SAP's Finance & Controlling organization

• Accountable for internal stakeholders overall success, including administrative topics such as FC reporting and QEC reporting

• Collaborate with various controlling teams within the Global Controlling organization to drive enhancements and adoption

• Proactively drive continuous content improvements and redesigns of existing assets, driving efficiency & simplifications

• Being part of agile delivery team and working close together with engeneering colleagues

• Data Domain Owner with for Financial Data Products including technical decompose

What you bring

• The right talent for this role brings versatility, agility, passion for analytics, great attention to detail, strong motivation, and the ability to communicate effectively with varies levels of management.

• Hands-on experience and use of SAP systems, including SAP HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, Datasphere is a plus

• Good understanding of Controlling processes in different lines of businesses

• Ability to understand business requirements from different functions

• Demonstrate ability for independent thinking and multitasking under aggressive deadlines

• Excellent communication and presentation skills to interact with colleagues and management

• Effectiveness in problem-solving and pragmatic hands-on person

• High analytical competencies and passion

• Team player, ability to lead, guide and work well with others

• Agile project management skills and experience

• Min. 5 years of professional experience within Analytics, Controlling, Operations or related area and with Analytical tools

• Data modelling experience

• Technical skills is a plus

• Language skills: Fluent in English, German is a plus
