What you'll do

• Actively lead various activities to ensure overall financial performance, such as financial forecasting, budgeting, quarter end close and cost allocations

• Be a business partner to business units in the Customer Services & Delivery organization, work out key messages from in-depth analysis and recommend action items to the management

• Support transformation and change in respective units to achieve financial targets, identify risks, and support mitigation measures

• Support and lead further projects to increase automation and simplify processes in the controlling as well as in the business environment

• Engage in preparation and financial validation of strategic and operational business cases

• Ensure transparency and compliance with financial guidelines

• Actively apply agile working methods & foster agile mindset

What you bring

• You have a bachelors and/or masters degree in business administration or finance related studies, major in controlling is preferred.

• You have functional work experience in (preferably cloud) controlling.

• You speak English fluently, German is a plus.

• Youre known for acting as a trusted advisor and business partner.

• You bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills to the table.

• You are willing to present in front of senior management.

• You are self-managed, pragmatic, reliable and have a professional working style.

• You are a team player, and you consider feedback as a gift.

In strong partnership with all Controlling teams, we are providing a best-in-class support to all our customers, by focusing on the information that matters most. Our insights and forward-looking guidance enable our leaders to make the right decisions and finally steer their business towards SAPs ambitious goals.

As an innovative and diverse organization, Business Area Controlling (BAC) continuously strives for efficiency while offering a great place to explore, learn, and grow for more than 350 people.

The BAC Cloud & Infrastructure team is actively engaged in harmonizing financial management of SAPs internal and external cloud infrastructure, including the operations of data centers and the technical platforms for all SAP Cloud solutions & services worldwide. We are a cross-generational & international team consisting of 16 employees & spread over Europe, North America & Asia, currently working in a hybrid mode.

This position offers an attractive mixture of classical business partnering activities, supporting top executives within the Customer Services & Delivery organization, as well as extended responsibility to drive critical cloud related analysis & reporting.
