The Role

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to develop their career with the experience of working with a Global technology company, based in our Poznan office.

The Finance Manager will oversee and coordinate the delivery of financial analysis and insight to finance and business colleagues, supporting the business in achieving cost and budgeted objectives. The Manager is expected to be hands-on in delivering analysis, reporting and insight, while also leading the team and growing the team’s performance. This role requires strong analytical skillsets and business acumen to drive understanding of business performance and identify opportunities for the business. The role will collaborate with the Lumen Finance team located in North America to drive understanding of the business.

The Main Responsibilities

  • Manages a team of finance analysts across all cost groups – cost of sales, operating and capital expenses.

  • Guide and support the team in all aspects of financial analysis, model and report creation, insight generation and business partner communication.

  • Key representative to Finance and business stakeholders, ensuring effective communication, delivery of deadlines and commitments, as well as managing workloads across the team.

  • Ensures accurate and timely deliverables, implements team learning programs for continued growth and improvement.

  • Advance the data retrieval, analytics and insight generation of the team, while coaching them to improve skillsets.

  • Guide and support the budgeting, forecasting and analytics of the team, to ensure high quality outputs and identify opportunities and risks to business performance.

  • Provide guidance, support and decision making to the team, built on a foundation of strong accounting and business finance knowledge.

  • Partner with key internal stakeholders to drive simplification and standardization of processes, outputs and data.

What We Look For in a Candidate

  • Proven ability to take high level direction and produce results which show thought leadership and drive value creation for the business with limited supervision.

  • Savvy in solving complicated data and analytical challenges – evolves reporting and analysis to guide business and drive impact more effectively (individually and through team members).

  • Thrives on continuous improvement - simplifying and automating processes and data using technology, while taking a hands-on approach to getting into the detail.

  • Leadership – build trust with colleagues, take people with you, influence decisions and develop talent.

  • Coaching – develop staff (whether direct reports or within a team) to expand skillsets and raise performance levels.

  • A strong communicator with business partnering background and a proven track record at building relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Highly skilled in advanced Microsoft Excel functionality (experience with Power Query, SQL or Power BI a significant advantage).

Preferred

  • Experience with analytic and business intelligence software (Power BI, Essbase, Anaplan, SAP).

  • Understanding of data manipulation and analytical tools such as SQL, Power BI or Power Query.
