Summary/Objective:This role will oversee construction projects by managing subcontractor schedules, ensuring quality control, maintaining safety standards, and coordinating logistics. Dedicated to regulatory compliance, clear communication with inspectors, and timely project execution while ensuring a safe, hazard-free site. The Site Superintendent will report to the Project Manager.

Classification:

Exempt (not eligible for overtime)

Essential function/Responsibilities: duties include but are not limited to the following

• Oversee quality control inspections and overall coordination and scheduling of subcontractor work.

• Review, comment, and coordinate shop drawing adherence to project requirements.

• Prepare redlined drawings based on as built and field conditions.

• Prepare daily job reports, conducting daily walkthroughs and work status updates.

• Prepare project schedule and monitor subcontractor adherence to schedule.

• Coordinate with contractors any required schedule recovery plans.

• Create and monitor project punch lists.

• Maintain DOB required documents.

• Manage project logistics, deliveries, and yards.

• Lead field meetings.

• Ensure that the construction site is safe and free from any hazards.

• Report accidents that occur at the construction site to the Project Manager.

• Ensure that the project is executed in compliance with local or state regulations.

• Communicate with inspectors to manage entitlement signoff processes.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in ground-up construction.

• Well-versed in the construction process and ability to coordinate sub-contractors daily.

• Communicate both verbally and in writing with all trades, architects, and engineers.

• Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Project.

• OSHA 40 hours.
