Our client in Poughkeepsie NY is seeking several Entry Level IT Technicians to join their team. As an IT Technician, you will be working in the warehouse supporting the Electronics team with Inspecting and Testing the equipment. The ideal candidate must have some previous computer experience and be able to troubleshoot computer issues. IT Test Technicians will work Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm, full-time.

Job Title: IT Test Technician- Entry Level

Location: Poughkeepsie, NY

Pay Range: $18 per hour

What’s the Job?

• Working in the warehouse receiving laptops, tablets and cell phones from clients all across the country.

• Conducting diagnostic testing.

• Testing functions using customized software programs to clear memory of the items and do a refresh / refurbish on the product and deciding if the item needs to be scrapped or if it can be reused again.

• Conducts audits on the electronic devices.

• Warehouse duties: pulling boxes from shelves, put on carts and bring items to your workstation to do the testing.

What’s Needed?

• Must have computer experience / knowledge

• A+ certification is a plus!

• Ability to trouble shoot computer issues.

• Ability to stand for long periods at a time.

• Picking/packing & warehouse experience preferred.
