Traffic Planning & Design GIS Administrator in Pottstown, United States

As our GIS Administrator, you’ll be at the forefront of developing and implementing GIS innovation across the company. With your deep understanding of Esri ArcGIS technology and enthusiasm for geospatial science, you’ll build the GIS capabilities of TPD, transforming data into solutions for our clients and projects.
Requirements:
Minimum 10 years’ experience in GIS with management experience.
BA/BS degree from an accredited College or University in GIS, Geography, Planning, Natural Resources, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
Experience in the use of GIS solutions including advanced knowledge of leading-edge Esri ArcGIS technology (ArcGIS Pro, AGOL, Esri apps, and more).
Python, SQL and/or other coding experience.
Experience building, executing, and supporting Esri Solutions.
Knowledge of using municipal datasets and implementing them in geospatial work.
Experience with AutoCAD software operations and file formats is a plus.
Experience with research and writing to support scopes of work for geospatial aspects of projects.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to ensure delivery of work to meet constrained timelines.
Ability to innovate and identify where GIS tools can better support the company.
Ability to balance competing needs.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
Perform business development to grow GIS throughout the company.
Present geospatial solutions to clients and peers.
Develop business proposals, scopes of work, and other reports as required.
Organize, track, and monitor all GIS project requests.
Plan, organize, coordinate, and participate in the development and implementation of GIS Solutions.
Provide expertise, support, assistance, and technical guidance to team members and clients.
Conduct quality assurance reviews for GIS products and processes.
Stay up to date on GIS systems and products to enhance the company’s GIS capabilities.
Research, procure, and maintain datasets from federal, state, and local entities.
Create datasets spatial and attribute data for engineering projects.
Assist with publishing web services, maps, and applications.
Create accurate and well-designed information products (e.g., maps, exhibits, reports, and electronic data deliverables).
Lead on GIS system administration and maintenance.
