SUMMARY

To assist the professional personnel by performing routine functions of patient care and support. Assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the Charge Nurse. Adheres to the professional standards of NYS OASAS.

STATUS: Full time

LOCATION: Cottage Street, Potsdam

DEPARTMENT: Chemical Dependency

SCHEDULE: 7.5 Hour shift, 3p-11p, every other weekend

ATTRIBUTES

• Required: High School Diploma/Equivalent.
  
• Required: Nurse Aide (or equivalent) training
  
• Required: Two years continuous abstinence, if recovering
  

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise patients, including coordination of activities, meals and ADL's.
  
• Clerical functions and ordering.
  
• Transport urines, register patients, accompany patients to appointments.

• On-the-job orientation and in-services provided
  

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: S - Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.

PAY RANGE: $16.89 - $24.00

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
