Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an HR Generalist in Potomac, Maryland. In this role, you will be crucial in maintaining the smooth operation of our human resources department, with a focus on payroll and benefits administration. Your duties will involve managing employee relations, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and overseeing the open enrollment process. The role is 4 days a week in office.

Responsibilities:

• Administration of benefits and payroll using the UKG Pro system

• Ensuring compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations

• Managing the open enrollment process for employee benefits

• Handling employee relations and addressing any issues that may arise

• Assisting with the bi-weekly payroll process

• Maintaining clear and effective communication with all staff members

• Overseeing all HR administrative tasks and ensuring their timely completion

• Utilizing strong benefits experience to effectively manage and oversee benefits functions

• Playing a key role in the process of employee onboarding and offboarding

• Utilizing HR administration skills to ensure the smooth operation of the department.

Requirements

• Proficient in Benefit Functions, able to manage and administer employee benefits.

• Excellent Communication skills, capable of effectively conveying information and resolving conflicts.

• Strong understanding of Compliance, ensuring all HR practices adhere to legal and company standards.

• Experience in Employee Relations, fostering a positive relationship between the company and its employees.

• Skilled in Human Resources (HR) Administration, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.

• Knowledge of Benefits Payroll, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll elements related to employee benefits.

• Competence in Payroll Functions, managing all aspects of payroll processing and distribution.

• Ability to Process Bi-weekly Payroll, handling payroll operations every two weeks.

• Experience in processing Biweekly Payroll, maintaining accurate payroll records and ensuring timely payment.

• Proficiency in Process Payroll, handling all aspects of payroll from data collection to payment distribution.

• Familiarity with UKG Pro, utilizing the platform for various HR and payroll functions.
