[Summary:[ This position is responsible for conducting linen inventories and restocking linen supplies to recommended par levels. - Maintains linens stored in assigned units in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Counts inventory in assigned units and restocks linens to par level according to the schedule.
- Collects all soiled linens from assigned units, utility closets, chute rooms, etc.
- Performs all duties in compliance with Joint Commission and Infection Control protocol.
- Responds to pager and phone calls from units; resolve customer issues in a timely manner.
- Documents pages and phone calls in the linen room phone log.
- Always represents SHS and the hospital in a professional and courteous manner.
- Assists SHS driver with linen delivery and all other duties as may be assigned by management .
