Job Summary

As a Diagnostic Imaging Manager you would implement unit specific goals and assists director with evaluation of progress. You would supervise day-to-day operation of department and perform procedures when assistance is needed.

• You will manage personnel disciplinary actions utilizing available hospital resources.

• Assist with establishing, maintaining and updating annually all department policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, JCAHO or other regulatory bodies related to the requirements for the administration of any department procedure in radiology, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine.

• Coordinate radiology services with other departments.

• Establishes employee work schedules, department payroll and authorizes overtime.

• Assists staff in administration of all department procedures and services.

• Alternate administrative call for Radiology and Imaging Center departments.

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology.

• Certified with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

• Minimum of 1-2 years supervisory experience. Able to organize and coordinate department activities. Capable of instructing others.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
