Wheelabrator Technologies HRIS Analyst in Portsmouth, New Hampshire

The HRIS Analyst is a member of the team responsible for the implementation, configuration, and support of Waste Innovation's (WIN) Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions. The HRIS Analyst works closely with HR, IT, and external vendors to streamline sustainable operations of the HCM technology, workflow processes, and ensure data integrity. He or she performs a wide range of analytical and research tasks as well as assists in project management activities from gathering business requirements, fit/gap analysis, functional and technical design, testing, implementation, and postproduction support. The incumbent will work independently under general direction and ensure system compliance with WIN's Human Resources Policies and Programs, and Federal, State and Local regulations by conducting testing and maintaining WIN's HCM and other HR and Safety information systems. Duties & Responsibilities: Duties & responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: * [50%] System Support: * Responsible for HRIS project planning, implementation, change management, and ongoing maintenance. * Research and resolve system-related issues. * Proactively identify and remedy issues that could impact end-user experience, data integrity, or overall end-to-end system functionality. * [15%] Maintain Documentation: * Ensure development and training documentation (configuration workbooks, user guides, test scripts, etc.,) are maintained to align with product and process changes * [10%] Release Management: * Review release notes and identify impact to system and processes. * Provide suggestions for adoption of enhancements. * Conduct regression and user acceptance testing. * [20%] Reporting: * Create and modify reports for short- and longer-term strategic direction to ensure reuse and maintainability. * Gathers and analyzes regulatory reporting data. Works with colleagues to ensure accuracy of information and timely filing. Results of submittal are saved for reference, and concerns are deferred to leadership. * [5%] Other duties as assigned Education & Experience: * BA/BS Degree or equivalent in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field * 5 or more years of combined experience: * in HR functional role (Recruiting, Employee Relations, Benefits, etc) with a deep understanding of core business processes related to Human Resources * supporting HR Information Systems, conducting analysis, development, and QA Skills & Requirements: * Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate complex information in a succinct, organized manner * Extremely detail-oriented, with strong interpersonal and collaborative work style, ability to develop effective working relationships and demonstrate commitment to being a team player * Strong organizational and time management skills, effectively managing workload and ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines * Strong vendor management skills * Strong computing skills in a PC environment (MS Project, Visio, Access, Excel, MSWord, and PowerPoint) * Ability to safeguard sensitive or confidential information from intentional or unintentional disclosure.
