Description We are in the search for a Database Developer to join our team located in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. This role focuses on the development and maintenance of databases within the industry, offering a long-term contract employment opportunity. As a Database Developer, you will be expected to work with other developers to optimize processes, advise on proper indexing to avoid deadlocks, and provide data analysis and insights.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain databases to ensure efficient operations

• Write SQL queries and stored procedures for database management

• Work collaboratively with the development team to optimize data-driven projects

• Analyze existing data and processes to understand and improve undocumented processes

• Provide insights and advise on best practices in database development

• Improve existing database design for better functionality

• Ensure a strong understanding of SQL Server 2016/2019/2022

• Use your knowledge of Microsoft SQL, Database Development, Indexing, SQL Queries, and .NET for effective database management

• Assist in troubleshooting database-related issues. Requirements • Proficient in SQL Database

• Minimum of 5 years experience in Database Development

• Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server

• Skilled in Indexing

• Expertise in writing SQL Queries

• Experience with .NET

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred

• Strong problem-solving abilities

• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Detail-oriented and organized in work

• Familiarity with data privacy regulations and best practices
