Your Role

With a keen interest in the development field, your main objective will be to develop software in accordance with the strategy of Kuehne+Nagel. This software development role will incorporate the initial design, development & writing of code alongside suitable & appropriate testing and effective implementation. If you have extensive experience in this field and you are looking for a development opportunity in a global organization, we would be interested in hearing from you.

Your Responsibilities

• Developing new and enhancing existing functionality of enterprise IT solutions.

• Delivering end-to-end solutions, from requirement analysis to solution design, through to development, acceptance testing, and deployment of the finished application.

• Ensuring high quality code, high levels of test coverage and security driven development.

• Solution design in conjunction with the business stakeholders.

• Support all activities across the full software development cycle.

• Play to the strengths of the team in order to meet agreed delivery dates.

Your Skills and Experiences

• Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Several years of experience in Angular; other JavaScript frameworks such as React, or Vue, are considered a plus.

• Knowledge of UI/UX and prototype design.

• Strong understanding of system design.

• Proficiency with server-side languages/frameworks such as Node.js, Express, Java, Spring is a plus.

• Familiarity with database technology such as Postgres, MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB is a plus.

• Soft-skills: Excellent forward-thinking and initiative skills, Good time management and organization skills. A high level of written and verbal communication skills, to help maintain communication.
