Job Description

A client near Portland, OR is looking for an information ISSO II to join an existing program. This candidate will primarily function within Special Access Programs (SAP) supporting several different DoD agencies. This role will support day-to-day activities within these Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Programs. The ISSO is responsible for ensuring the appropriate operational security posture is maintained for an information system and as such, works in close collaboration with the ISSM and ISO. The position shall have the detailed knowledge and expertise required to manage the security aspects of an information system and, in many organizations, is assigned responsibility for the day-to-day security operations of a system. This also will include physical and environmental protection, personnel security, incident handling, and security training and awareness.

Pay Range: 105K-110K

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law

Skills and Requirements

• Active TS/SCI Clearance

• Bachelors degree or 4 additional years of experience

• 2+ years of experience in a cybersecurity related role, reviewing/updating authorization packages, identifying vulnerabilities and implementing countermeasures, and conducting security impact analysis

• Special Access Program (SAP) experience required

• IAT II certification - Previous experience in roles like Network/System Administrator, ISSO, Cybersecurity Analyst null
