Location: SE Portland

Compensation: $24 - $26 hourly

    Who You Are:

    The Staff Accountant is responsible for daily accounting processes in the Finance Department. This position works very closely with the Accounting Manager and other Finance staff and is a strong, contributing member of the organization.

    What You Will Work On:

  • Prepare billings for Clark Family Center rents; monitor, follow up and reconcile balances owed, if any.

  • Prepare billings to properties for resident services and asset management services. Monitor, follow up and reconcile balances owed.

  • Prepare reports for other grants, as required

  • Upload monthly general ledger summary files from third party management company to consolidate financial information in Intacct general ledger.

  • Complete trial balance comparison analysis on properties on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy of the file uploads; and follow up with Guardian Management and Caritas Staff if there are questions or adjustments.

    Education, Certifications, and Licensure Requirements/Preferences

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent lived and or worked experience required.

    Experience Requirements/Preferences

  • Minimum 3 years of previous accounting experience required.

  • Ability to use Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
