Job Description

TravelBank, the modern and industry leading all-in-one business travel, expense, and corporate card system, is looking for a talented and driven Senior Product Designer.

At TravelBank, you will have the opportunity to work alongside an experienced management team and global partners in a startup environment within U.S. Bank. As a member of the team, you will be a driving force in the culture of our product team as well as having an immediate impact on the product we deliver to our customers. This specific position is on our growth and platform team, with a focus on building out features to grow and retain the TravelBank customer base.

Responsibilities

  • Thoughtfully and iteratively create innovative user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and detailed UI for the iOS, Android, and web applications, utilizing and expanding upon our design system

  • Support the existing design strategy, while helping to shape the continued growth of the visual identity and design system

  • Partner with product managers, developers, and project stakeholders on projects from conception to launch and beyond

  • Serve as the dedicated designer within a sprint scrum team

  • Incorporate stakeholder feedback, find creative solutions within technical constraints, and utilize user testing/usability findings in your designs

  • Develop and maintain detailed information architecture and design specifications

  • Give and solicit feedback from our designers to ensure a high quality experience for our customers

  • Measure and enhance your designs based on feedback

  • Ensure designs meet accessibility requirements and best practices

  • Perform metrics analysis and general auditing post-launch to inform optimization efforts

  • Guide and mentor junior designers

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience

  • 6-8 years of industry experience as a product designer, user experience designer, or similar design-related role

  • Portfolio or case studies demonstrating user experience and visual design work

Skills/Experience

  • Good knowledge of user-centered design principles

  • Expertise in Figma, JIRA, and other design related software

  • Experience working on web apps, and designing for iOS and Android in a scrum environment

  • Proven experience working on several complex projects simultaneously

  • Experience documenting interaction details and design specifications, and performing design QA of the implemented product

  • Experience running remote user tests with online tools

  • Attention to detail and good organizational skills

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively on various design projects

  • Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills

  • Familiarity with WCAG and accessible design best practices

  • Ability to be a guiding and mentoring influence to junior designers

  • Willingness to travel

  • Experience designing features with a platform and/or product-led growth focus is a plus

  • Familiarity with agile scrum methodology is a plus

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $102,340.00 - $120,400.00 - $132,440.00
