Grant Thornton LLP Report Processor in Portland, Oregon

Grant Thornton is seeking a Report Processor to join the team. Approved office locations can be found below.

The Report Processing Center of Excellence Report Processor is responsible for preparing financial documents and reports, performing proofreading and quality review, and coordinating workflow during the night shift to prepare for the overnight 3rd Shift.

Hours are Monday through Friday from 1:00pm - 10:00 PM Mountain time or 12:00pm - 9:00pm Pacific time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Workflow Coordination: Coordinate workflow and assign or complete work. Respond to customer requests and provide issue resolution, while prioritizing workorders. Serve as a subject matter expert in all facets of workflow and system corrections. Ensure report delivery by stated deadlines. Research issues and provide customer solutions. Maintain and archive files in a SharePoint environment. Facilitate the transition of work from US based shifts to 3rd shift (INDUS) and manage customer expectations for overnight fulfillment of report processing services.

Financial Report Production: Produce and type financial documents for the practice teams. Input and document revisions from handwritten, typed, converted, or scanned materials using appropriate resources. Ensure quality control of assigned work. Help review department standards and procedures and help ensure all documents conform to formats, styles, and standards. Maintain formatting consistency and writing standards for processing financial statements and reports.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Associates degree preferred or equivalent work experience

  • 3 years of word processing experience with advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat

  • Strong proofreading skills

  • Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines

  • Proactive customer service skills and issue resolution

  • Effective time management skills to meet deadlines

  • Ability to work in a team and self-directed

  • Ability to handle confidential information

  • Ability to maintain professional demeanor in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment

  • Excellent typing skills, 65 words per minute, with a high level of accuracy

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience in a professional services environment a plus.

  • Experience archiving and retrieving files in a SharePoint environment.

  • Ideal individual will have a high attention to detail, and the ability to quickly transition from one assignment to the next.

  • Workflow coordination and customer issue resolution experience a plus.

  • Familiarity with financial accounting terms and concepts.

The base salary range for this position in the firms Denver, CO office only is between $52,000 and $78,000.

The base salary range for this position in the firms Los Angeles, CA, Orange County, CA, San Diego, CA and Bellevue, WA offices only is between $56,160 and $84,240.

The base salary range for this position in the firms San Francisco, CA and San Jose, CA offices only is between $59,800 and $89,700.
