Farmer Brothers Product Transfer Technician in Portland, Oregon
This is a grave shift position: Sunday-Thursday 11pm to 7:30am
The Product Transfer Technician is responsible to transporting finished good from the packaging area to the correct location for distribution. Does a visual quality check on product prior to transporting the product.
Responsibilities
Transfer finished goods from Packaging area to designated bin location
Accurately stock product into inventory.
Accurately rotate and restock product.
Accurately adjust inventory when required.
Communicate with QA Techs regarding non-conforming product.
Retrieve production supplies needed for packaging lines.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or GED required
1 year of experience working in a warehouse environment preferred
Personal & Professional Skillsets
Being able to follow verbal and written instructions.
Good math, reading and writing skills.
Attention to detail.
Comfortable using a computer.
Proficient data entry skills.
Trained to operate forklift and other transport vehicles.
Ability to understand and adhere to all Farmer Brothers policies, processes and workplace guidelines.
Able to lift 60 lbs.
Able to perform repetitive functions with hands.
Able to operate forklifts and other transport vehicles.
Able to use manual and electric pallet jacks.
Able to pull pallet jacks with up to 1500 lb pallets loaded.
Work in a cool and hot environment.
