About the job
We are currently seeking a Pharmacy Technician to work in the Shipping and Purchasing department within Home Infusion and Long Term Care Pharmacy. Technician will need to create shipping labels, schedule/coordinate shipments, prioritize shipments depending on when they need to go out, track packages, talk on the phone with courier companies, work with the Pharmacy department and more. May also be asked to pack prescriptions from time to time as well as handle returned prescriptions.
Job Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Oregon Pharmacy Technician License OR Certification
6+ months of high-volume order entry and/or data entry experience - preferred for this experience to be within a Pharmacy, but not required.
Excellent data entry & typing skills/experience (typing test required for sub).
High level of attention to detail and prioritization skills.
Strong work ethic with drive/motivation to hit performance metrics/numbers.
Computer Savvy - will need to be able to do some data entry, shipping label creation, track packages, etc.
Can lift up to 30 lbs and be on their feet all day - some opportunity to sit, but constantly moving.
