Department: Community Development & Housing

Employment Type: Full Time (40hrs/wk.); Non-exempt

Reports to: VP of Community Development & Housing

Location: SE Portland

Compensation: $20 - $22 annual salary

    What You Will Work On:

  • Answer calls from residents and direct resident grievances, concerns, and comments to the appropriate party.

  • Continue building & maintaining the electronic filing system for the Community Development & Housing program. Includes data entry, scanning in documents, and assisting intern(s) in following consistent e-filing practices.

  • Process mail received for the Community Development & Housing program which includes opening mail, responding to mail, and distributing mail accordingly.

  • Lead and support special projects as assigned by Community Development & Housing program team members.

  • Assist the VP of Community Development & Housing with property inspections as needed.

    Education, Certifications, and Licensure Requirements/Preferences

  • Associate's degree in human services or equivalent lived and/or worked experience required.

  • Associate's degree in human services or equivalent lived and/or worked experience required.

  • Minimum of 2 years of previous experience in an administrative support role strongly preferred.

  • Customer service experience/background preferred.

  • Knowledge, training or experience in landlord/tenant law and relationships preferred.

  • Ability to use Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
