Robert Half has an excellent opportunity for a General Office Clerk open for a highly motivated self-starter. This essential role is for someone who loves organization, order, and people. You might be right for this General Office Clerk role if you're looking for a short-term contract / temporary opportunity in the Portland, Oregon area, and are comfortable with performing various administrative support tasks, including scanning documents and e-filing PDFs.

How you will make an impact

• Performing data entry, scanning, word processing, copying, filing, and faxing

• Carry out correspondence according to prescribed style and format

• Interface with internal customers in a friendly manner

• Supporting diverse projects for other employees as needed

  Requirements

• Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills highly desired

• e-Filing experience desired

• Strong familiarity with Document Scanning

• Filing experience preferred

• Well-founded grasp of Adobe Acrobat

• General familiarity with Microsoft Office Suites

• Experience handling Confidential Documents

• Ability to multitask, collaborate and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds in a fast-paced environment

• Adept handling office equipment

• Employer recommends 1 year of Office Clerk experience for this position

• Flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments

• Strong time management and organizational skills
