Job Summary: Applicants should have excellent verbal, written and organizational skills, data entry ability and be able to understand general ledger entries and how they work. In addition, applicant should be a fast worker and be able to work under the pressure of deadlines. The Financial Analyst assesses financial operations and works to help ensure that each Trust runs efficiently, assures that financial records are accurate, and that the Trusts are in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Minimum Qualifications: \' Proficient in Excel and Word \' Advanced Excel level required \' 10-Key \' Excellent typing skills \' Excellent attendance \' Excellent telephone and social skills \' Special attention to detail \' Strong analytical and problem-solving ability \' Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Responsible for maintaining complete and accurate accounting records including general ledger entries and maintenance. He/She will prepare financial statements, prepare supporting financial schedules, reconcile bank and investment accounts, perform research on transactions, handle complex calculations and prepare ad hoc reports. Strong communication, presentation, and relationship building skills are critical as this individual will be working with and providing support to the Executive Management team and Plan Professionals. The duties include, but are not limited to: \' Reconciling checking and investment accounts \' Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable \' Communicate with Trustees, Legal Counsel, Auditors, and Consultants in both verbal and written form \' Data entry \' Organization \' Filing/Purging \' Monitor Cash Flow \' Work with other departments to satisfy reporting requirements \' Act as a liason with external auditors and keep files and records organized for annual audits \' Handle required tax filings \' Perform ad-hoc research and analysis as required
