Environmental Services Technician-Cleaning Attendant at Providence Portland Medical Center Guest Housing (On Call, Day shift, Schedule: Wednesday 7.30 am to 4.00 pm, then possibility of same shift as on-call all other days)

Starting hourly rate is $19.01/hr and increases based on your years of experience

The Guest Housing Center offers a home away from home for people touched by illness. This center provides affordable lodging for people from outside the Portland area who are receiving medical care at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center or Providence Portland Medical Center or who need to be near a loved one receiving care.

In keeping with the mission of Providence Health System, the Guest Housing Center was designed as a place of comfort, safety and renewal. Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Guest House Cleaning Attendant's responsibilities can be summarized as the following:

Provides guests with a warm and caring attitude promoting the concept of a Home Away From Home and which reflects the Sisters of Providence Mission and Core Values. Executing cleaning tasks in a sanitary, and orderly manner using proper sanitation procedures and practices. Provides an attractive atmosphere for all. Ensures cleanliness and sanitation of guest room service ware, and equipment. Ensures that all residents observe guesthouse rules. Assures the safety and security of residents within the facility and accountable for the safety and security of residents within the facility according to Guesthouse policies, procedures and safety standards when only employee in building. Checking inventory cleaning and linen supplies. Assists with the maintenance of equipment, appliances, and furnishings. Provide errand assistance. Provide assistance to the front desk staff. Provides accurate documentation in all applicable Guest House manuals. Performs all duties in a manner that promotes team concept. Knowledgeable about all guest forms relating to guests. Knowledgeable about all guesthouse policies.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
