WorkSource Oregon Early Childhood Mental Health Clinician (Bilingual - Spanish) in PORTLAND, Oregon

Position Duties and Responsibilities: (Full job description available at interview stage or earlier by request) Provides specific and limited mental health services for children, ages 0-5, and their families: assessment and diagnosis using Early Periodic Screening Diagnosis Treatment (EPSDT). Has knowledge of the Developmental and Clinical (DC) 0-5 crosswalk to DSM Provides case management, safety planning, coordination of care, referrals to ancillary and/or specialty services, as needed. Coordinate regular weekly meetings with the IECMHC team for individual case consultation and identification of potential mental health assessment referrals Provide crisis and short& #8208;term mental health case consultation services to children and families identified by the IECMHC staff utilizing parenting education curriculum; Provide parent support and/or parent education to identified client families; Completes all clinical documentation in accordance with state, federal and organizational requirements, emphasizing collaborative documentation. Abides by the appropriate code of ethics and follows all of Morrison\'s policies and procedures. Is present and punctual for work, supervision and/or meetings. Works well within a team environment, sharing workload, credit, and opportunities. Completes other duties as assigned to ensure successful operation of program or department. Demonstrate a commitment to developing a thorough knowledge and application of the Sanctuary model and other organizational policies & practices. Participate in staff development, in-services, and training related to equity and inclusion in the workplace; model appropriate behaviors; develop, recommend, and implement improvements to business practices with awareness and understanding of the impact in a trauma-informed and culturally diverse organization. Required Education and Work Experience: Master\'s level degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field. Experience working with children in a mental health, social services, educational, or other related setting. Current Oregon or other state behavioral health license (preferred), OR Eligible for licensure within 6 months Bilingual in Spanish, both written and spoken Two years direct treatment experience with children (ages 0-5) in a mental health or Early Childhood setting Site travel required up to 60% Language skill requirement or preference: Must pass language proficiency testing in Spanish
