Robert Half is currently searching for an articulate, highly-skilled Customer Service Representative. Be prepared to come into a dynamic and fast-paced environment in this role. This Customer Service Representative job is long-term contract-to-hire. The position is onsite in Portland, Oregon and candidates must be able to work fully onsite for training and then two days a week in office after that.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate, friendly customer service in a timely fashion

• Coordinate and support sales team

• Willing to be a team player and a self-starter

• Will be responsible for coordinating customer orders made through the website

• Build relationships with internal teams and customers

• Perform accurate data entry

• Process orders

• Problem solve as needed

  Requirements

• Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information

• Ability to exude confidence, knowledge, and empathy when interacting with internal and external partners and clients/customers

• Excellent customer service and office administrative skills

• Comfort in pursuing resolutions to complicated customer inquiries using complex research methods

• Proven knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, is ideal

• Proficiency with Microsoft office applications - strong Excel skills are required

• Excellent communication skills

• Strong familiarity with data entry

• Customer service experience required

• Critical thinking, problem solving, ability to work independently

• 1+ years of past relevant experience

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

• A consistently positive approach to your work that is rooted in a businesslike professionalism
