Job Title: Construction Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee a variety of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in writing subcontracts, owner billings, conceptualizing budgets, and managing project schedules. Projects typically span 3-6 months with budgets ranging from $500k to $5 million. This role is also open to Snr PE's and Assistant PM's who have experience buying out a project. Responsibilities

  • Write subcontracts for Electrical, Mechanical, and Architectural (Drywall and Framing) subcontractors.

  • Create invoices for owner billings using any invoicing software.

  • Conceptualize and create budgets for projects of varying sizes.

  • Estimate project costs using Excel and collaborate with the estimating team to process change orders.

  • Manage project schedules alongside the superintendent.

  • Oversee budget management for assigned projects.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in construction management, particularly in tenant improvement and small ground-up projects.

  • Proficiency in writing subcontracts and contract negotiation.

  • Strong project management skills, including estimation, blueprint reading, and project scheduling.

  • Familiarity with MS Office Suite, Bluebeam, and MS Project.

  • Ability to conceptualize and manage project budgets.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Structural Engineering, or relevant work experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in construction management with a relevant project history.

Work Environment

The work environment is a medium-sized, non-union general contractor with a family feel and a progressive, dynamic team. Projects often change and include retail stores, restaurants, fitness centers, offices, and senior living retrofits, with budgets ranging from $100k to $4 million. The company offers a supportive environment with opportunities for growth, a $550/month auto allowance, company cell phone, gas card, annual bonus program, medical benefits, 8 paid holidays, and 1 week of vacation (negotiable for the right candidate).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.26 - $52.88
